David Abrams, M.D.
Dr. Abrams was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated with honors from George Washington University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, where he received his medical degree cum laude. After an internship in internal medicine at The Bryn Mawr Hospital, he completed his residency in Ophthalmology at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City. Dr. Abrams is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and enjoys taking care of patients with a broad range of eye problems.
Dr. Abrams felt the call of the west and spent 15 years in private practice in Bozeman, Montana, where he enjoyed the numerous outdoor activities available there. After tiring of the long Montana winters, he along with his daughters Sara and Rachel, relocated to San Antonio to join the San Antonio Eye Center. The family enjoys taking advantage of the many cultural opportunities available here in south Texas.
