Angela Rowden, MD, FACS

Dr. Angela Rowden was born in El Paso, TX and grew up in Denver, CO. She attended MidAmerica Nazarene College, graduated from medical school at the University of Kansas and then completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Dr. Rowden practiced general ophthalmology for four years and then decided to further her training by completing a one year fellowship in oculoplastics surgery under the tutelage of David, Tenzel, M.D. in Savannah, GA.

Over her educational and professional career, she has performed and presented clinical research at ARVO and has published research in peer reviewed journals such as “Ophthalmology”.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Rowden enjoys spending time with her children, friends, and family. She also enjoys traveling, volunteering, pilates, cycling, and is currently learning to play the guitar.

Dr. Rowden is active in her professional community and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the Texas Medical Association. She was a recipient of the Texas Super Doctors Award in 2018. Dr. Rowden is board certified in ophthalmology and specializes in oculoplastic surgery including upper lid blepharoplasty, lower lid blepharoplasty, double eyelid surgery, blepharoptosis, brow ptosis, entropion, ectropion, and nasolacrimal duct surgery.

Dr. Rowden’s goal is to deliver exceptional care, provide advanced techniques, and help patients realize the best version of themselves.
